How it works

From a reminder to a two-way conversation

01

Connect a provider

A supported SMS provider is connected alongside your other channels.

02

Send the time-sensitive message

Reminders, confirmations or status notifications go out to the customer.

03

A reply opens two-way messaging

Customer replies land in the shared inbox with the same context as other channels.

04

Brain or a person continues

Brain and automation can qualify where configured, or an agent can pick up the thread.

05

Escalate when it needs more room

A longer conversation can move to a channel better suited to it, with history intact.

Provider and consent

SMS availability, sender identity, delivery behavior, pricing and consent requirements vary by provider and country. Twilio and Bandwidth are the supported configurations for production use today.

Part of one omnichannel operation

SMS shares the same Brain, automation and reporting layer as every other connected channel.

SMS FAQ

What to know before you connect

Is SMS QualiBot's only channel?

No. SMS is one of several equally supported channels. The same Brain, shared inbox, automation and reporting also work across WhatsApp, Instagram, website chat, Telegram, SMS, LINE, email and other connected channels.

Can SMS conversations be assigned or routed automatically?

Yes. SMS conversations can be assigned manually, through round-robin or capacity-based distribution, or by automation rules based on inbox, language, priority, labels or attributes, the same as any other connected channel.

Which SMS providers are supported?

Twilio and Bandwidth are the supported configurations today, alongside the same shared inbox, Brain and CRM workflows as every other channel.

Can an SMS conversation continue on another channel?

Yes, when the customer can be matched through available identifiers or an approved merge process.
